About Jordyn
Hello, my name is Jordyn. I trained professionally as a chef for 4 years then progressed onto a BA hons in Food, Nutrition and Textiles Education. Been teaching full time for 4 years. I have marked for the SQA for the past two years. My focus is to provide clear understanding of how the SQA want questions answered to achieve the best results you can!

I specialise in supporting students with SQA exam technique for National 5 Health & Food Technology, helping them turn their knowledge into high-scoring answers.
My approach focuses on building confidence and improving performance by teaching students how to fully understand and respond to exam questions. I place a strong emphasis on breaking down command words, so learners know exactly what is being asked and how to structure their answers to maximise marks.
Through guided practice, exam-style questions, and targeted feedback, I help students develop the skills needed to achieve their full potential and improve their chances of passing—and even exceeding—their target grade.
I aim to create a supportive, clear, and focused learning environment where students feel confident tackling their exams and know exactly how to approach each question for the best possible outcome.
