About Stéphanie

Hi, I am a tutor in several areas and a very passionate cook of plant-based food. I have studied nutrition in the scope of a protocol for caring for people suffering from cognitive decline, and to my happiness, it coincided with a lot of my favorite food. It has been a really energizing and empowering experience. Besides my passion for healthy food and plant-based eating, I am also a translator between English and French, a French tutor, and a dance tutor. I have a versatile background and always enjoy meeting and working with people from all walks of life. I look forward to teaching and learning with you very soon, Stéphanie C;

About the lesson

Hello, My name is Stéphanie and I am offering you some lessons online to cook together some delicious and beautiful healthy food. I will share my recipes with you and will give you some insights into nutrition from my personal experience as well as years of extensive reading and constant learning about nutrition. Are you looking forward to enjoying some delicious meals full of flavors, energy, and vitamins? Healthy delicious food is always a place of creativity, it might become your new passion... Please note that my cuisine is plant-based. I have been happily vegetarian for many years yet I occasionally eat eggs and dairy so eggs and cheese may be on the menu. Optional: by the way, I am French, so if you would like to make this class a cooking lesson and a French lesson, this is your perfect opportunity to combine a French conversation class with a cooking lesson. You may be interested in this option. When teaching, I enjoy working with students in an interactive manner which is for me one of the best ways for learning as well as for the students to explore and strengthen their skills, sometimes discovering their own skills in the process of learning. I had French lessons with Stephanie - mostly concentrating on spoken French. I found that Stephanie was an excellent tutor, very helpful and kind, even though my spoken French was really weak and it would take me ages to say a basic sentence, she'd was always so patient and gave corrections in a really, nice positive way.
