Hello, I have been a secondary maths teacher for the past 8 years teaching across a variety of schools across the North West and the Midlands. I have been a head of department for the last 4 years and ultimately just love maths. I am here to support pupils in gaining and building their confidence in maths so that they can become mathematically competent in the real world, not just focusing on achieving a qualification.

My degree is in mathematics with sport and exercise seconded, then I completed a secondary mathematics PGCE in 2012. I would love to help anyone I. Supporting them to build their confidence and achieve a qualification, as there is nothing better than watching someone who has struggled get that “lightbulb” moment where everything just falls into place.
