About Kaitlyn
I am a mechanical engineer with some experience in tutoring. During high school, I was an Algebra tutor for other high school students. During college, I worked at an elementary school as an after school tutor for grades 3-5. I enjoy working with students and love math!

Each student is going to be different which is why I encourage communication between the student and myself. To begin, I need to gauge what material the student does understand and also where he/she/they fall short. Once I begin to explain concepts or problems, I will encourage the student to let me know what explanation is the most effective for them so I can tailor my approach for following examples. I also believe that relating math to something interesting to an individual will encourage them to learn the material.
