About Muté

Hello!!

My name is Muté and it's lovely to make your acquaintance!

I am a recent Vet Med graduate and along with science, I am interested in English Literature, photography, playing the piano and cooking! I find it hard to box myself into one main interest- as I love so many things!

I really enjoy anatomy and physiology- as it helps us make sense of the processes we see in animals and in us each and every day. Through understanding it, we have a window into the wonder and complexity of things that may appear on the surface to maybe be 'simple' or not significant- so this is definitely my favourite aspect of sciences!

I've been there- the wrestling with concepts; the trying to find what study method works best for you, and ways to remember and compress all that information into your brain! So, I really want to endeavour to make that process simpler and easier for you as students! I hope to support you and empower you, to be able to grasp concepts you never thought you would, and help you be able to really understand- not just have to memorise!

I've learnt that learning should be fun- and so I want to help make the process enjoyable and memorable, with tools to simplify and aid memory and study, ultimately to help you improve and reach new heights with learning!

About the lesson

Hi!
My classes will be centred around, ultimately, what works best for you! Whether this be a format where I can teach and explain further any topics you may need help with, or us going through questions together (e.g. active recall)!
I love including videos, labelled diagrams, breakdowns and anything that I feel truly gets the topic across and simplified as much as possible!

Either way- my desired outcome is: You leave feeling you've actually understood a concept!

A lesson will typically be 50 minutes-1hr and for those who need that extra push up with getting to grips with Vet Anatomy + Physiology (can be any years! I'm here to help!)

I am a recently qualified Veterinarian and thus have much of this information fresh in my head and know exactly what it's like to try and learn all this! So I am with you and 100% relate!
Otherwise, I am also a Biology and English tutor (so I have experience in how best to plan lessons that will be of impact and help!)
