About Elyza
While growing up, I never had the help I needed while struggling with mathematics and science . I studied day and night to try and understand the process of these subjects, though would only end up more confused. Because of this, I want to give struggling students the chance to actually understand their curriculum, not memorize the answers. I want your child to fall in love with mathematics like I did when I finally got myself a teacher that sat down, took the time, and helped me understand.

- I am very big on visualization, so there will be a lot of drawing out these problems to try and help your child see the bigger picture.
- I would also like to know what exactly your child is struggling with, so I will give them certain questions to solve in our first meeting to see their strengths and weaknesses.
- Again, I am open to teaching pre-kindergarten, all the way to 12th grade! I am very flexible and will tweak my lesson plans and my own learning process to help guide them to finally understanding mathematics or science.
