About Holly
The subjects I can offer tutoring biology in are: GCSE AQA triple foundation and higher biology.
My name is Holly and I currently play football for Notts County Development team. Through this, I believe I have founded a sense of resilience and work ethic, something that I think I can mirror upon my students to help them achieve to the best of their abilities. In addition to this, I’m part-time pot washer/waitress, proving my experience with customers and therefore helping me to place my students’ needs first so they can be satisfied with their results. Finally, I have always wanted a way of helping others. Not only does tutoring provide me with motivation and confidence, it also helps me to strive to allow my students to achieve the best results possible.

I’ll be able to teach you the content, effective revision methods tailored to what works best for you, and how to answer the questions to score the highest marks possible (using the official mark schemes). The content will be taught through video methods, active recall, understanding the basics and applying the understanding to past paper questions and challenging scenarios. As biology has a strict mark scheme, I’ll be teaching you based on the spec’s wording, allowing you to pick up key marks by answering specifically how it asks you to and avoid minor mark drops.
