About George
I am a friendly, understanding person who would genuinely like to see you succeed with your goals. I am a recent graduate of the BSc Acoustics and Music Technology course at the University of Edinburgh, during which I took many courses in Mathematics, Physics and programming. Alongside these academic interests, I am musical and am interested in music production and guitar, and can tie concepts from these into Maths/Physics lessons if relevant/desired!

As a recent graduate, it hasn't been such a long time since I was going through my GCSEs and A levels myself! Hence I am very familiar with the difficulties students face with these qualifications, and am very well equipped to help students succeed here. My teaching takes a focus on finding the method of learning best suited to the student, meaning lessons will be flexible and engaging.

George is a great teacher, he's got the understanding to explain why musical constructs work the way they do, coupled with the useful skill of being able to simplify it to any level that he is teaching especially if that person has no background in music theory
George is a friend of mine and has helped me learn some basic guitar over the years. He is a very highly skilled guitarist and a good teacher. He is attentive and gives helpful and constructive feedback. His attention to detail makes understanding your mistakes easy. Overall a delightful tutor.
