About Emily
You likely understand that math is the hidden engine behind every major industry success story today. I work with adults and competition-prep candidates who need more than just textbook examples to succeed. My 11 years of experience includes coaching students who demand high-level analytical fluency.
Having earned my BCom and BSc at UNSW, I teach the language of patterns and statistics. I have taught 150 students to view math as a logical system rather than a series of chores. My background as a homeschool-family tutor means I value efficiency and clear structure above all else. Success is simply the byproduct of a rigorous, well-planned strategy.

Your first session starts with a diagnostic assessment to identify exactly which core competencies need reinforcement. I simplify trigonometry, statistics, and number sense through structured, high-level analysis.
Every chapter concludes with concept maps shared to ensure you retain the structural relationships between each topic. We apply these methods to SAT and ACT prep or advanced competitive math requirements. My focus remains on building your mental agility to handle any problem with speed and accuracy. I look forward to helping you refine your quantitative edge.
