About Kaitlyn

始めまして! (Nice to meet you!) I'm Kaitlyn, but we can skip the formalities and you can just call me whatever nickname you can think of - Kaitybug, Kaitastrophe, anything works.

𝕀'𝕞 a fellow papercut survivor, I accept you as you are and I think knowledge is extremely magical.

𝕄𝕪 life is dedicated to chasing knowledge because I love it so much, and I get fumes when people don't teach in a way that shows how magical these subjects can be.
Some ways people teach Japanese sucks the true essence out of how incredible it is to learn another language and culture completely different from your own.
So, that's why I'm here - because Japanese Language Learning Lives Matter!! I want to expose the true magic of learning. I don't want you to just smile and nod and then go home and lie to your parents that you had a 'fulfilling, bla bla' time where you'll forget everything the next day.

𝕀 𝕒𝕞 yet to have much experience tutoring, but I'm telling you, I cannot wait to teach. I take every opportunity in school to teach others alongside myself, and tutoring seems like such a fun and more personal version of that.

About the lesson

𝓘 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮 never been one to enjoy the snooze-fest of reading words on a board and then copying - I usually make mnemonics, poems, drawings, songs, sticky notes all around the house and so much more - I crave that active side of learning. I want to share with you my absolute joviality of teaching and introduce to you the new worlds that come with being 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕗𝕚𝕕𝕖𝕟𝕥, 𝕔𝕦𝕣𝕚𝕠𝕦𝕤 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕔𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕧𝕖.
So, not only will I teach you Japanese, but I'll teach you how to teach yourself!!!

𝓘 𝓪𝓶 here for any kind of age and gender, but my Japanese is partially limited and conversational (and of course, I am still learning) - I can teach the basics from up to Grade 12 (hiragana, kanji, forms, how sentences are made, lots of good stuff) but I can also teach billions of sentence patterns. Be ready for me to learn from the experience too, even if I am your tutor.
