About Zehra

I am currently studying Psychology (Child Pathway) at the University of Greenwich. I am aspiring and working towards becoming a child psychologist. I have previously had experience as a teacher's assistant for a year at my local community centre. Growing up as the oldest in a household without English speaking parents I often struggled with homework, therefore I want to be able to be your big sister and tutor you to help motivate and provide you with the extra support you may need to boost your grade and understand topics you may be struggling at!

About the lesson

I will be focusing on tutoring primary school children as well as secondary school level. I can also help with exam preparation for both SATs and GCSEs, helping you focus and understand topics previously struggling with. Lessons would last around 45 minutes to 1 hour, this can be discussed further depending on how much help you may need that day and how much time you may also have. The lessons will typically consist of a brief chat to get to know each other followed by a review of progress. This will consist of strengths and weaknesses with the opportunity to inform me of what you would also like to work on in further sessions. This will then take us to the main of the session which will be a task assigned to you, and if you do finish the task early and we have time we would play a fun learning game at the end! For new students, I will be holding a quick 30 mins of free consultation session to get to know each other better as well as letting me know about all the things that you require help on and want to work towards.
