About Teresa

Hi, my name is Teresa. I graduated in 2025 through an ATAR pathway, where I studied both Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics. I have a strong academic background and enjoy helping students build confidence in their learning.

I have over two years of tutoring experience working with students aged 6–14. In addition to private tutoring, I currently work at a tutoring centre supporting primary school students with their academic development. This experience has helped me develop effective teaching strategies tailored to different learning styles and age groups.

I am patient, approachable, and passionate about helping students understand concepts rather than just memorising answers. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment so students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.

I also hold a valid Blue Card, allowing me to work safely with children.

About the lesson

Lessons can be either pre-planned by me, or students are able to bring medium they need extra guidance on (these can be homework task from school for etc). My patient and outgoing persona encourages a safe environment for students to easily understand and enjoy learning maths! For older grades like year 11-12 I have lots of study materials and past papers.
