About Ruby
I am studying at the University of Melbourne, majoring in both Anthropology and Sociology, with elective units in History, Ancient World Studies, Gender Studies and general Arts subjects.
Previously, I have been a swimming instructor for young children, so I have experience in creating lesson plans and adapting to the individual needs of each student.

Humanities subjects are heavily reliant on conceptual learning, rather than memorizing facts or figures. My lessons will break down those concepts into easily understood, bite-sized pieces, then reassembled once those individual elements are mastered, to give a working understanding of the concept as a whole. I will also teach valuable study techniques and skills required to succeed in essay writing and argument creation for Humanities subjects, to ensure that concepts and theories can be practically applied to the topic.
