About Katelyn
If everyone listens there'd be no one to teach.
In a room full of people in my English class I noticed that every person carried similarities. Similar in the sense that everyone was in the same knowledge class, roughly the same age and mostly adopted similar personalities.
It is difficult to understand yourself fully in a cohort where you feel obliged to be the same. I found that my writing in English is what allowed me to stand out. It formed recognition and pushed me to approach my own potential.
And the driving force that pushed me to see this part of myself was my English Teacher.
In the same way, I will ensure the best exploration of your potential and push you to the exceeding achievements in your senior year and moving forward.

To understand English and its approaches I found it necessary to first know yourself as the writer.
By doing this you will know how to approach every question with your own stylistic mind, making it easier to breakdown questions using methods of understanding you've adapted to.
I target Year 11 and 12 students
The length of the lesson will run for 1 hour and can extend depending on how much assistance is needed.
After deeply consulting with the student I will then form lesson plans to ensure the student is getting the most appropriate help.
