About Jo-Elle

Hi, I’m a passionate and approachable tutor with a strong background in Math, Biology, and Economics. I completed my A-Levels with excellent results. I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand complex topics, and that’s what led me to tutoring. I'm currently in university studying Law and Criminology. My goal is to make learning feel less stressful and more enjoyable. I take a calm, relatable approach, often explaining ideas in simple terms and using real-life examples to make things click. I’ve tutored students from Grades 1 to 12, and I tailor every lesson to suit the student’s level, interests, and learning style. Whether you're struggling to keep up or aiming to get ahead, I’m here to support you. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely committed to helping you build confidence and achieve your goals.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is down-to-earth and student-focused. I believe learning should feel approachable, not intimidating, so I always try to explain concepts in a way that connects to things the student is actually interested in, whether that’s sports, gaming, art, or real-life examples. This helps make tricky subjects like math and biology feel more relevant and easier to grasp.

I usually run lessons between 60 and 120 minutes, depending on what the student needs. I’m flexible with time and pace; we can spend extra time on challenging topics or move quickly if they’re getting the hang of things.

I’ve tutored friends and younger students (from grade 1 to 6), and I’m especially confident teaching high school-level content, since I recently completed A-Levels in Math and Biology.

My lessons are open to students of any age, but I’m especially in touch with the high school curriculum (up to grade 12). Whether you need help with the basics or want to get ahead, I’m here to support you at your level.
