Hi! I'm Mina. I graduated from year 12 in 2015 with an ATAR of 91.85, having studied Advanced English, English Extension 1 and English Extension 2. I currently study a Bachelor of Performance as a Dean's Scholar, with a dedicated academic focus.
Tuition with me would consist of identifying the skills needed to achieve good English results, starting with breaking down the course outlines and rubrics. We would dedicate the practice to areas of concern, practice essays, and past exams - focussing on problem areas and addressing how best to approach a range of past HSC papers.
Most importantly we will set some realistic academic goals and create an individual timeline to best achieve those results.
In the 2015 HSC, I achieved high results across all 4 units of English. I have continued to develop and hone my own essay writing and research skills over the last two years studying Dramaturgy - a subject primarily dedicated to text analysis and academic responses.

Management and Administration Experience
In the June/July University break I applied to participate in the Student Initiated Project which is supported by The Arts, English and Media (TEAM) at the University of Wollongong. I was chosen to direct and create a theatrical performance of my own and volunteered to also handle the administrative requirements for the project. These tasks included managing communications between heads of faculty, student directors, technical support officers, front of house and the TAEM office. I was responsible for managing and booking rehearsal spaces, submitting advertising material to UOW Marketing and submitting financial reimbursements and paperwork for all four directors according to strict deadlines.
I managed these tasks whilst also directing and creating my own theatrical piece which in turn involved not only a large commitment of time but also scheduling, meeting deadlines, choreography and the management of my cast.
My piece was selected by Head of School Sarah Miller and Coordinator Chris Ryan to be shown again at UOW Open Day as an example of the types of opportunities UOW provides and the high standard of work its students produce.
Perfect! Thank you so much for the introductory lesson! I'm really excited
