About Habeb

Hi! I'm Habeb Rizmi. I'm a Year 11 student in Baulkham Hills High School. I have achieved high marks in science, mathematics, and programming (software engineering) subjects, and have a solid understanding of these topics. I achieved a High Distinction in the Australian Science Olympiad, and have consistently achieved 90%+ on my science exams. In years 8, 9 and 11 (current), I was in the top class for math. I understand that many school teachers teach by way of rote and memorization, and that doesn't help students much - I have personal experience with this. My aim is to help students really understand concepts rather than memorize them, in flexible online lessons that are professional, but informal to keep the lessons engaging, but educational.

About the lesson

My teaching style is flexible—I adjust how I explain things to fit how you learn best, whether that's breaking things down step-by-step, using visual aids, using analogies, or working problems. I focus on helping students understand the "why" of each topic so they can apply problems on their own with confidence.

Lessons take 1 hour, enough time for important points to be discussed, practicing, and questions to be asked. Although, my hours are generally flexible. I make sure every session is professional yet informal to ensure that the students do not feel intimidated.

As a current Year 11 student at Baulkham Hills High School, I understand how frustrated and overwhelmed students can become—I've experienced it myself. Teachers often taught by rote, so I had to teach myself to actually understand the concepts. That experience taught me how important it is to really understand the content, rather than trying to memorise it. Now I hope to help other students do the same.

I consistently achieve 90%+ results in science, and achieved a High Distinction in the Australian Science Olympiad. I achieve good marks in maths, being in the top class for maths in years 8, 9 and 11. I achieved the highest marks in the Year 8 Science Yearly Exam and was high ranked in the Year 9 Yearly, and have completed several advanced projects with coding using Python.
