Hi, I’m Jade — a dedicated Year 12 student currently studying Mathematical Methods at an advanced level. As a Year 12 student currently studying Mathematical Methods, I understand exactly what it’s like to be learning these concepts at school — and how confusing they can sometimes feel. My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and tailored to the student’s needs. I focus on breaking down problems step by step, using clear explanations, worked examples, and real past exam-style questions to build both skills and confidence.
Lessons are structured around what the student is currently learning in class or needs extra help with — from algebra and functions to calculus and exam strategies. I make sure every lesson ends with a quick recap and a few practice questions to lock in the learning.
My lessons are best suited to school students from Year 6 to Year 9 who want to build strong foundations in maths or prepare for higher-level work like Math Methods. I’ve helped peers and younger students at school and love seeing that “lightbulb moment” when something finally clicks.
