About Serena

An independent artist, entrepreneur and mom of one. By day, prominent businesses in the creative and entertainment industry entrust me with their digital marketing efforts across Melbourne. By night I perform for the most well-known and respected dance clubs. I have held residencies at New Guernica, Revolver, MyAeon and Pawn & Co.

About the lesson

Having navigated the nightclub and bar industry for over 6 years as a professional DJ, I understand the overwhelming jump from even a classically trained musician to the technicalities of DJ software and equipment. I have 15 years of private musicianship tutoring experience, with a deep understanding of electronic music production standards, Pioneer DJ equipment and beat matching. I also offer guidance on personal marketing and networking to build the likelihood of securing your first of many gigs. I support both beginners and experienced DJ's in their career both on and offline.

For an extra $55 per hour lesson we can access club grade equipment in an isolated studio based in Windsor. For beginner-intermediate students I have appropriate and transportable equipment. We can also use yours!

Perfect! I hired Serena to teach my daughter the basics on her new pioneer deck, and she was amazing at going through the process step by step - giving my daughter to confidence to practice at home having the fundamentals of where to start!
