About Shad
I am a highly ambitious, hardworking and academically driven A-level student at Bournemouth School, currently studying Mathematics, Physics and Economics. I am aiming to achieve three A predicted grades*, with the ultimate goal of securing a place at the prestigious London School of Economics (LSE) to study a BSc in Finance.
I have a strong passion for mathematics, economics and academic excellence, and I consistently strive to challenge myself and achieve the highest possible standards. I consider myself organised, disciplined, patient and determined, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous improvement.
I believe education opens doors to incredible opportunities, and I hope to inspire younger students to adopt the same ambitious mindset, develop confidence in their abilities and strive towards achieving their own academic aspirations.

As a high performing A-level student at Bournemouth School, having achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE English Literature and Grade 8 in Mathematics, my main priority is helping students boost their grades and achieve their highest possible examination results.
I primarily focus on GCSE Maths and English Literature, although I am also fully capable of teaching KS3 students. My lessons closely follow each student's exam board specification, focusing on the knowledge, skills and techniques required to maximise marks.
I use effective methods including active recall, spaced repetition, exam-style questions and personalised feedback to identify weaknesses, strengthen understanding and improve exam performance. I also provide targeted revision resources, past papers and model answers to help students make consistent progress.
Lessons typically last one hour, although I am flexible with shorter, longer or more frequent sessions.
My ultimate goal is to help students increase their grades, master examination techniques and develop the confidence needed to perform at their very best, particularly as their exams approach.
