About Elqanah
I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Howard University and hold a bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University. My academic background has given me extensive experience with anatomy, biology, physiology, and the human body.
As a tutor, I understand that science courses can feel overwhelming, especially when there is a large amount of information to learn. I aim to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students can ask questions, strengthen their understanding, and build confidence. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to teach them study strategies and ways of thinking that will help them succeed in future science courses.

As an Anatomy and Biology tutor, I focus on making complex concepts easier to understand rather than relying solely on memorization. I help students understand the “why” behind topics and connect structures, functions, and biological processes to real-world examples.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and may include reviewing course material, breaking down difficult concepts, using diagrams and visual learning, practice questions, active recall, and preparing for quizzes or exams. I also help students develop effective study strategies for content-heavy science courses.
My background in Health & Exercise Science and current Doctor of Physical Therapy education allows me to connect anatomy and biology concepts to practical examples involving the human body. My lessons are ideal for high school, undergraduate, pre-health, and introductory anatomy and biology students who want to strengthen their understanding, improve their grades, or prepare for exams.
