About Brian
I have been teaching for 31 years, in Queensland schools, at all levels of English. I have tutored many students who have struggled with their studies or wanted to improve their results, with great success. My work has been from home schooled kids right through to struggling year 12s.

I like to think outside of the box and find links with the student's current understanding to build their grasp of the subject and to do this I use a variety strategies to assist me, such as; games, music, repetition, deconstruction and making analogies with popular culture. I believe understanding is often there already, it just has to be brought into the student's conscious.
