About Sakura
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney and are enrolled in their Dalyell Scholars stream where I'm able to learn more about leadership and expand my general knowledge. If you can't already tell by course, I am pretty interested in Science particularly, in biology and chemistry. I also did what felt like a lot of math so I'm also a bit of a nerd in that area too. Personally, I always have to work extra hard or pay attention in classes when learning new content because I struggle to pick up new topics quickly. For that reason, I completely understand the benefits I could bring to the table by helping on the side!

My name is Sakura and I am looking for an opportunity to tutor students from year 10 and younger. I completely understand the benefits of a little private help on the side and the difference it can make to your understanding and confidence in general with the subject. I am also hoping to boost your assessment scores and most importantly, fuel your interest in the subject so you can learn to enjoy it. I'm am pretty new to the whole tutoring scheme so I would love to have great communication with my student so we can share ideas and tutoring methods fit and catered towards them! If you're a visual learner, I will try my best to cater for that, whether it is heaps of diagrams and pictures or other modes of learning. I strongly believe in a growth mindset where your intelligence is not defined by your natural ability at all! I want to help assist students in expanding their knowledge and overall, just making you a little more comfortable with whatever you want/need!
