About John
I am so glad you are reading my bio. My name is John and one of the things I do best is teach things to others. I try my best to be patient, and kind, while also trying to inspire your fire to want to learn and be better. I have been working with kids in schools since I was in high school, and these days I am a high school math teacher. My methodology with 1-1 tutoring always revolves around the needs and learning styles of the student. A typical lesson plan for math for me would involve the student leading the conversation and actively engaging in digitally solving math problems, as all of my experience in the past year of tutoring has been virtual online tutoring, 1-1. I would say that my extensive experience working with students with special needs, UDL styles, and virtual tutoring experience sets me apart. Depending on the student and the day of the week, I have tutored 1-1 anywhere from 3rd grade math to high school math.
