About Jason
My path to teaching was a little unconventional. Before becoming a high school physics teacher, I worked as a recruiter in Silicon Valley, where I learned the importance of communication, problem-solving, and meeting people where they are. Today, I bring those same skills into the classroom.
I teach regular high school physics and have spent the past three years helping students build confidence in a subject that often feels intimidating. My students know me for the energy I bring to lessons and my ability to explain difficult concepts through stories, analogies, and real-world examples. Whether we’re discussing momentum, forces, or energy, I often draw from sports, martial arts, cartoons, and everyday experiences to make physics easier to understand and remember.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and adaptable. I believe every student can learn physics when concepts are presented in a way that makes sense to them. Through classroom instruction and one-on-one office hours, I’ve worked with students of all ability levels and learned how to adjust my approach to fit individual needs.
My goal is simple: help students understand the material, gain confidence, and realize that physics is often much more approachable than they think.

My lessons are designed for high school physics students who want to improve their understanding, raise their grades, or prepare for quizzes and exams.
As a physics teacher with three years of classroom experience, I know the concepts that students struggle with most and how to break them down into manageable steps. Rather than memorizing formulas, I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind the physics so they can solve problems confidently on their own.
A typical lesson begins with identifying areas of confusion, followed by guided instruction, worked examples, and practice problems tailored to the student’s needs. I adapt my teaching style to each learner and encourage questions throughout the session.
I can help with topics including motion, forces, energy, momentum, electricity, waves, and scientific reasoning. Whether you’re trying to catch up, stay ahead, or prepare for an important exam, my goal is to make physics clear, approachable, and even enjoyable.
