About Michaela
Hi Everyone,
My name is Michaela, I am a secondary school Science teacher with 5 years of experience. I have taught all lower school science (years 7-10) and year 11 and 12 General Human Biology.
I have previously studied a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation and Marine biology and am also a qualified vet nurse.
Teaching is my absolute passion and I pride myself on differentiated learning. All students learn differently and my experience as a teacher has made me a master in differentiating my teaching styles to suit all students learning needs.
I am located in Quinns Rocks and currently have Mondays, Tuesday’s, Thursdays and Fridays available for tutoring. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out and we can work out if I’m the right tutor for you!

My favourite subjects are Oceanography Biology and Earth Science, but I teach all aspects of lower school science.
I have had plenty of experience tutoring outside of my role as a teacher however, the experience I bring as a science teacher is what aids me in supporting my tutoring students.
My tutoring students will range from Years 7 to Year 12 and my sessions are tailored to individual needs of students ranging from 1 hour to 2 hours.
