About Marigrace
I love working with kids and helping them succeed in school. I can work virtually with students who know English and are in North America. I tie subjects back to sports, and other trends in society through acronyms, games, and other memory tools. I am a 15-year-old, devoted Christian girl who wants to see everyone reach their academic goals. I work with grades 3rd-7th in all subjects and 8th grade in math and literature. I want to do everything I can to help someone understand a subject and will try to accommodate their needs as much as possible. Elementary school through middle school learning can be crucial education years and I strive to help kids in these grades to better themselves for the future.
Before tutoring, I will need to see what the student is working on currently in school and would like to know some basic background information so I can relate what they are learning to other things they like and understand.

Kids can learn what they need for school, and not understand it at all. I want to help kids understand what they're learning and why they are learning it. I use memory tools and acronyms to help kids, as well as games. I specialize in helping 5th-grade students, but I also tutor 3rd-8th grade just as well.
Students tend to take better instruction from someone closer to their age who understands more about current trends in society, and with my age and understanding of the current trends I can connect with students in ways others are unable to.
(I am also an avid fan of all sports and can tie subjects back to your child's favorite sport to create games and memory tools more likely for them to remember.)
