About Helena
My name is Helena and I am currently in grade 11. I am enrolled in the subjects Mathematics Methods and Mathematics Specialist, and am interested in a career in Veterinary Science. I enjoy working with children as I have had previous experience with babysitting, as well as having younger siblings myself. I am looking for a tutoring job as I enjoy teaching mathematics and I am eager to help students to enhance their mathematics skills, in preparation for their senior years. I live in Norman Park, and would be willing to come to the students house, or otherwise offer my house for the duration of the lesson.

My teaching methodology involves discussing with the student the areas they are finding challenging or seeking to improve. I am able to explain and demonstrate mathematical concepts, and can assist with any homework/ classwork that the student needs help with. I use the relevant textbooks and workbooks for the student's level to assist with the lesson. I have had previous experience with maths peer tutoring through school, and have had experience working with children through babysitting. I am able to tutor any student from grades Prep through to 10. I am flexible with location. Ideal lesson time is 1 hour.
