About Sofia
My past experience is volunteering elementary level students (typically 2nd-5th grade) as well as the in-home middle schooler that is my little brother. I have been a math peer tutor as long as I can remember. Beyond that, I am fully aware of my mathematical capabilities considering my current high level mathematics courses and engineering pathway.

Hi! I’m a high school junior ready to help students along their mathematical journey. My perspective as a current student allows me to implement learning strategies I have developed and am still using into my lessons. A simple sit-down session is the last thing to expect from me, I seek to engage students with activities based on their levels of understanding of real-world situations and use them to stretch their math skills to outside the classroom.
