About Emmi
I am a high schooler with an interest in math. I have previous tutoring experience ranging from grades 4th to 7th. I hope to inspire a love for math by making lessons enjoyable. Because I am younger than many tutors, I can teach using more modern tactics and create a bond with my student. I hope to see you soon!

I provide homework help and a curriculum for my students (up to 8th grade) using 4 steps.
1) Gauge my students level: what they are and aren't comfortable with as well as what challenges them.
2) Provide resources: practice problems, practice tests, and create a space where mistakes are not only okay, but are what lead to growth.
3) Zeroing in on specific areas: whether this be areas needing growth, or simply wanting to get ahead, finding exactly what it is my student needs to thrive.
4) Consistency: not only teaching my student how to do one problem but actually explaining concepts to help form concrete ideas.
