About Tatiana
Hi! My name is Tatiana, and I have been doing mathematics for almost as long as I can remember :) I have lived in 6 countries over 3 continents, and I enjoy visual arts and philosophy. I am passionate about maths, and I strongly believe that deep understanding is what can take you from feeling completely lost to acing your tests. I take a lot of care to listen to your concerns and really tailor my explanations to better the outcome.

I have profound experience teaching mathematics at high school and early college levels: - I have over 3 years of experience teaching Olympiad maths, both in Russian and in English - I worked at NYU as a Math Department tutor and received high praise (PreCalc - Calc III, Linear Algebra, Discrete Maths) - I am experienced at preparing students for A-level exams, IB exams, and SAT/ACT - я говорю по-русски и могу помочь подтянуть математику на английском ;) I am best at cultivating a profound understanding of the subject, and I strongly believe that you do not need to memorise half of what we are used to memorising once you really see what is happening behind the scenes. You can seek my help on anything that seems arbitrary, unintuitive, or unimportant -- everything in maths is intentional, you just need someone to show you where to look.
