Music for Wellbeing services includes Music Therapy sessions, Singing lessons, Piano lessons, Singing for Wellbeing sessions. Sessions/ Lessons are provided by Registered Music Therapist (Reg.no.748) and highly experienced singing teacher and piano teacher, Rebecca Reyna.
Singing Lessons consist of the learning of proper vocal technique, such as diaphragm breathing, soft palette positioning, forward placement (tilt), and projection, and applying this technique into the way the student sings their chosen songs. Lessons are $35 for 30 minutes or $65 for an hour.
Piano lessons consist of learning to play scales, chords and songs, as well as learning piano theory. Lessons are $35 for 30 minutes or $65 for an hour.
Music Therapy is the planned and creative use of music to attain, maintain and progress the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of all people. Music Therapy is beneficial for all people of all ages. In particular, music therapy is beneficial for those who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, or difficulties in coping with life. Sessions are also available for NDIS participants.
Singing for Wellbeing Sessions’ are similar to a singing lesson, but they also emphasize and focus on the therapeutic aspects and benefits of singing.
