Highly experienced Aviation Tutor and Flight Instructor with over 15 years of expertise in Flight Operations, Aviation Safety, and Pilot Training. Successfully delivered JAA, NZ CAA, and CASA theory programs across Asia, the Middle East, and leading flying schools in Australia and New Zealand.
A dual-qualified New Zealand and Australian instructor, with a strong commitment to aviation safety management, regulatory compliance, Risk and Safety audits and professional pilot development. Recognised for mentoring aspiring pilots and consistently enhancing training standards through structured, performance-focused instruction.
Also an experienced Flight Operations executive, with extensive hands-on experience in flight scheduling, revenue management, safety oversight, and operational networking, gained across the UK, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia. Experienced Aviation Tutor and Flight Instructor, having completed JAA PPL and ATPL theory in the UK, NZ CAA/ATPL theory, and CASA CPL IREX . Holder of JAA and NZ/Australian pilot licences (CPL/MEIR) and a CASA/C Cat Grade 3 Flight Instructor.
I am confident and experienced in guiding RPL and PPL students to successfully pass their theory examinations, using clear explanations, exam-focused preparation, and practical operational examples.
Lessons can be delivered online or in person at a public venue (e.g. library) by arrangement. I have international teaching experience across Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Jordan, New Zealand, and Australian flying schools, and adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs and aviation backgrounds.
