I was taught mathematics by Mrs Imbush for several years, including my A-Level years, at King Edward VI Grammar School. I have worked with Sarah for about 14 years when she first arrived as Head of Maths. I have seen the department go from one stuck in the past to one at the forefront of Maths teaching in the area. She is an excellent practitioner and our school results have gone up consistently over the years. The students love Maths and expect to be challenged, nurtured and thoroughly prepared for their examinations (GCSE maths and Further Maths and A level Maths and Further Maths) thanks to the ethos Sarah has engendered into our department.
