As a Chinese language teacher/ tutor, I'm highly engaging and capable to tailoring the lessons and contents to suit your learning levels, abilities and goals. Lessons are focused on integrated skills set teaching, balancing Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
Typical length of a lesson is between 50 mins to an hour.
I grew up learning languages and am professionally trained as a translator and conference interpreter (English Chinese Mandarin). I am also a school specialist Chinese language teacher and have more than 7 years experience in teaching Chinese language (both Primary and Secondary schools (taught IGCSE Chinese to Year 10 and 11) in Malaysia.
With over 4 years of local teaching experience in a Primary school setting, working with the junior learners, I'm very experienced and well exposed to the challenges/ learning environments here in Melbourne.
I'm able to teach from as young as 4 years old (beginner level) to VCE Chinese and helping you with exam preparation.
