I'm a lifelong music lover, and I'm here to share the joy of piano with my future students. I love helping students discover their musical passion. We'll build skills for life, not just for the piano. Together, we'll create musical memories you'll cherish.

About the lesson

I am a highly experienced piano tutor with a deep passion for music and a solid foundation in piano education. Having successfully completed all the grades up to Grade 8 in the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board), I have a comprehensive understanding of piano techniques and music theory. My mission as a piano tutor is to instill the joy of playing and creating music while fostering a strong foundation in piano skills. My approach to tutoring is based on a combination of techniques and teaching methodologies that cater to the unique needs and aspirations of each student. Here's an overview of my approach: 1. Tailored Lessons: I believe that every student is unique, and I customise my lessons to suit their individual learning style, goals, and musical preferences. 2. Fundamentals First: I emphasize the importance of mastering the fundamentals of piano playing, including proper hand technique, posture, and note-reading skills. 3. Music Theory: Understanding the theory behind the music is crucial. I incorporate music theory into lessons to help students grasp the underlying concepts and become well-rounded musicians. 4. Diverse Repertoire: I expose students to a diverse range of musical genres, from classical to contemporary, so they can explore their musical interests and develop a versatile skill set. 5. Goal-Oriented: I work with students to set clear and achievable goals, whether it's preparing for exams, performing in recitals, or simply playing for personal enjoyment. Typical Length of a Lesson: My lessons typically last 30 minutes for younger beginners and 45 minutes to an hour for more advanced students. The lesson duration may vary based on the student's age, skill level, and goals. Who Are My Lessons For: My lessons are suitable for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced pianists. I welcome students of various age groups, including children, teenagers, and adults.
