About Ian
After graduating from college with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, I started my career as a Trainee Draftsman (Drawing Boards) with a Water Treatment Design Engineering company in Glasgow, Scotland. I spent 10 years honing my skills before a solid career of 20+ years throughout the Engineering world. I moved to Australia in 2008 and have worked for may high profile Design and Mining companies such as GHD, Jacobs, Fluor etc.

I prefer a one to one teaching method, where I can understand each individuals capabilities and desires. I can pass on many skills within the CAD environment such as AutoCAD, both 2D and 3D as well as other Autodesk products such as Plant3D, Navisworks etc. With a patient attitude I fully understand the difficulties in learning such daunting programs. I can offer both basic and advanced courses as required.
