Highly qualified English as a second language teacher. Experience teaching English in South Korea and China.

Methodology

I like to create an environment where the students feel happy and confident to open up and speak English as much as they possibly can. I like to create scenarios that the students might encounter on a day to day basis to encourage them to broaden their vocabulary and confidence. After speaking, I would then focus on grammar, where students would be encouraged to practice, correct and review their grammar mistakes. Finally repeating their new sentences until they feel confident they are aware of the mistakes they have made and how they can correct them.

Background

I studied English and Creative writing at University and I am now currently doing a Masters of Human Rights. I studied theatre in Sydney and London, then went to China and South Korea to teach English. I taught all ages, from Kindergarten through to adults. My passions include travelling and exploring new countries, and making friends all around the world.
