About Jayjay
Hi! I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in math and making challenging concepts easier to understand. I have experience volunteering at an elementary school and have spent years helping classmates succeed in math. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, fun, and hands-on when needed, because I know every student learns differently. Even while balancing theater, choir, and color guard throughout high school, I excelled in my math courses, including AP Physics and Honors Chemistry. I love seeing students have those “aha!” moments, and I’m excited to help learners of all ages reach their goals.

I think lessons should be taken with me because I’m a very fun person to be around even when dealing with serious topics I will make the learning space as safe and fun as I can make it. Plus I always bring snacks everywhere with me :)
