About Lex
As a third cultured kid who has lived in California, Singapore and Amsterdam, I was exposed to many ideas and teaching styles, including the infamous Singapore math. This intellectual framework helped me to achieve a 36 on the ACT and 780 on the SAT math sections with minimal cramming. I am currently studying economics with a minor in math at NYU.

I believe that if students have the right tools, they can become intuitive problem solvers. Lessons would work primarily through solving problems at the pace the student feels comfortable with, and reviewing gaps in knowledge. Mathematics can be both fun and beautiful with the right mindset, and utilizing modern tools such as games, graphing tools and even experimenting with AI can all help to create links between topics.
