About Ayu
Hi! I’m Ayu from Selangor. I recently graduated in Biomedical Engineering, but beyond my academic background, I’ve always had a strong interest in learning languages and understanding how people communicate.
As orang Melayu, I’ve seen how language can sometimes become a barrier between people from different ethnic backgrounds. This has made me realize how important—and fun—learning Malay can be in connecting with others. My goal is to help learners speak practical, natural Malay confidently, not just for exams, but for everyday conversations!

What if learning Malay could feel easier and more enjoyable than you expect?
Fun fact: Malay uses a lot of everyday expressions that reflect the community—for example, pelan-pelan means ‘slowly,’ but it’s also a gentle way of saying ‘take your time.
I’ve worked with my students who needed step-by-step guidance and I've learned still a few languages myself, Arabic, sign language, so I do know how a good lesson can be efficient, and effective. I'm flexible :D, so do feel comfortable asking any questions and practicing without pressure.
