About Tanay

I have a Master's in performing arts from MSU Baroda and Pune. And learning Indian classical tabla from renowned tabla player Abhijit Banerjee sir. Also doing private shows. I also have Visharad in tabla from Indore. If you are looking for a new journey in music, I can help you.

I think I can teach easily because I know the technicalities of tabla which I learned from my experience. We can start according to your ability. I know how to give lessons in an easy way by which you can get it easily.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
My subject is Indian classical tabla.
As a kid, I used to play on the tables and boxes at home. My father is a doctor but he has a great interest in Music. But unfortunately he is unable to do anything in music field. When he saw my interest in music, he sent me to music class. My journey begins here. Now I have an MA in tabla and doing many shows.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
My motivation for teaching is my guru. I am in a field where many students want to learn but they don't know how and where to start. Because I have also faced this problem. So I want to teach students who really want to learn.
How does your work help society?
Tabla is a very old art form. It is not only art form but it helps you to meditate. You can release your stress by playing and learning tabla . My subject can release stress of society.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
My role model for my work is my gurus because he is teaching many students, by which the are forming one good organisation of tabla players which is good for society. And I also want to contribute to the society with my teaching.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
My hobbies is to perform and I also love to watch standup comedy and also love to perform music shows. In my free time, I also compose music.

I will share during the first class.
