About Jarrod
I am a 4th year university student completing a Bachelor of Secondary Teaching (Humanities) at the University of Newcastle. I major in Modern History, and minor in Ancient History. I have had two placement experiences in public 7-12, and 7-10 schools. I have assisted many students from various backgrounds in developing their historical knowledge and skills.

My teaching methodology varies depending on the size of the class, I prefer to tutor students individually, as students have a variety of learning styles. I always have high expectations of my students, although the path to achieving such outcomes may differ per individual, as I believe various strategies and activities are vital according to students interests, background knowledge, and learning style.
In the past I have taught students from various backgrounds and ability levels through University professional placements, predominately in the history discipline.
