About Nataliya
Hi there! My name is Natalie, and I have recently graduated from University College London with a degree in History (emphasis on Medieval and Modern periods). I am currently pursuing an MSc in Management at the UCL Business School. I am passionate about social sciences & environmentalism. I speak three languages (Russian, English and Ukrainian) and enjoy reading art history in my spare time.
I completed my A-levels at the Henrietta Barnett School, and gained qualifications in History, Government and Politics, Geography and English Literature (A*A*AA).
Before attending HBS, I studied at an International School in Ukraine, where I studied the Middle Years Diploma (IB equivalent of GCSE’s), graduating with High Honours (four A*’s, five A’s).

Approach:
When tutoring Social Sciences, I try to make the content as engaging as possible, and focus on essay-writing techniques, past papers revision, note taking methods and active recall exercises. I also like to focus on the intricacies of source analysis, which is a skill required for Oxbridge entrance, GCSE & A-level exams and graduate level-study. I believe that studying is a strategic exercise which requires a methodological, level-headed approach.
Lesson format:
I live between Belgravia and North West London, and am happy to have classes online.
In order to make our time together productive, I will make our lessons as personalised as possible. Firstly, I will conduct a free 10 minute interview to find out your interests and get an idea of your educational needs. After this, I will prepare an individual mini-curriculum so we can get you to where you want to be in no time at all. After every lesson, I will assign you a set of homework and mark it in my spare time.
