About Bash
My name is Bash and I have been working in tax since 2015. I joined HMRC as a VAT tax Inspector and went onwards to complete HMRC's graduate programme and qualified as a fully trained Inspector of Taxes. I have worked tax enquiries across several tax heads - VAT, Income Tax, Corporation Tax and Employment Taxes to name a few. I have also held several senior roles within HMRC and have established and provided learning support to junior and trainee tax inspectors. I left HMRC and moved across to Big 4 Tax Advisory, advising several Blue chip clients before I left and joined another professional services company as a Tax Consultant where I now provide tax advice to over 4000 accountancy practices.

My lessons are aimed and geared towards students studying for a tax qualification. Whether that may be a degree in tax, ATT or CTA. Unlike the traditional approach of only focusing on study material and past exam papers, my method provides a better understanding through real life scenarios. This is proven to be far more effective than the traditional methods. For example, how would a client's CGT disposal be calculated if they didn't have sufficient supporting evidence for their expenditure and how should this be presented to HMRC under an enquiry?
