About Diana
I am 29 years old, currently doing my PhD in interdisciplinary studies about the impact of invasive species on human societies. I am an ecologist now learning about social sciences and human behaviour. I love dancing (especially Caribbean rhythms like salsa and guaguanco) and talking to people. I am very passionate about biodiversity and the need we modern humans have to actually be closer to nature. I enjoy learning about people's lives and cultural identities. If you give me a good talk, I do not forget you :) I love exercising and being in the outdoors. I really enjoy travelling and exploring everywhere.
I have experience teaching at several levels but in informal settings. I was a teaching assistant back in Cuba when I was doing my Bachelor degree and have several years of experience in Cuba as an environmental educator with children and adults, and a trainer in skills for biodiversity conservation at the undergraduate level. That is why I need to communicate in Spanish very well and I am able to help you improve this beautiful but complex language.

If you are looking for a person to improve and learn how to effectively communicate in Spanish, that is me! :) I can give 2 hours maximum of an interactive and interesting talk while pointing out the correct way to speak and write in Spanish, along with some tips about slang in some parts of the Spanish speaking world, specifically Cuba (where I come from). We can choose the topic together every session, but it does not matter if the talk goes to other topics: we can go with the flow.
The first hour is always free to introduce ourselves and see if there is chemistry for us to really engage into the learning process.
