About Maria
Let's start talking about your motivation, interests and goals for taking Spanish lessons; let's discover, together, your individual factors, unique learning style and skills to acquire a foreign language. Based on these elements, I will design a customized program, just for you, and I will guide you through it to accomplish your objective You will enjoy the dynamic classes, where you are the central player! For nine years I was a lecturer of Spanish as a Foreign Language at Purdue University, Indiana University, Ivy Tech Community College and River Forest High School in Indiana. In Purdue University I also held the positions of Language Lab Supervisor, Co-Director of Study Trips to South America, and Spanish Club Advisor where the emphasis was on cross-cultural concepts and activities. For eight years between 2011 and 2019, I resided most of the time in my country of origin, where I directed a language center focused on English and Spanish for Specific Purposes programs. Currently, I am tutoring at Lingua Language Center at Broward College in Florida, and on TakeLessons tutoring online Platform.
