About Mathilde
Hello, my name is Mathilde, and I am a French native speaker who recently moved to Australia. I hold a Master’s degree in Corporate Tax Law from La Sorbonne University, where I developed strong skills in the French language, writing, and communication. I am highly motivated to teach French to children, both to share my culture and to learn more about Australian life. I have experience working with children as a summer camp counselor, through multiple babysitting roles, and by teaching my 4-year-old goddaughter. These experiences have taught me patience, creativity, and how to adapt to each child’s needs. I would be delighted to help your children discover or improve their French in a fun, supportive, and educational environment.

In my French lessons, my goal is to create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where children can learn naturally and confidently. I adapt each lesson to the child’s age, level, and interests.
I encourage children to speak French from the beginning through small dialogues, repeating words together, and fun activities like describing pictures or objects.
I always make sure that children feel comfortable and confident. My approach is very patient, encouraging, and adapted to each child’s personality.
