About Peter

I am passionate about teaching because it allows me to inspire and empower others on their learning journeys. Witnessing the moment when a student grasps a new concept or discovers their own potential is incredibly rewarding. Teaching is not just about imparting knowledge but fostering critical thinking and curiosity.

Apart from academia, I am also an active person who loves to go on long hikes, play basketball on the weekends and catch up with friends. The first step to enhancing your intellect is improving your physical abilities.

About the lesson

I try to implement strategies that improve your critical thinking skills for you to be able to solve any questions/challenges that come your way. I use research-based teaching approaches such as inquiry-based learning, Socratic method, and real-world applications that enhance your overall understanding of the theories.

Typical lesson lengths will be 1-2 hours and are catered for students of all ages/levels.

I have vast experience in chemistry (organic chemistry/biochemistry), maths (algebra/geometry/calculus), biology, anatomy, pathology, and physiology.

Perfect! After searching for a little while for a maths tutor for my 6th grader, we were fortunate to find Peter. Right from the first trial lesson, it was clear that Peter was very knowledgeable and fostered an ability to connect with his students.

I like Peter's approach to teaching. He makes each lesson both fun and effective. My son constantly raves about the helpful tips and tricks and "hacks" he learns from Peter each lesson to tackle math problems.

My son, who initially disliked maths subject in general as he struggled with certain concepts, now approaches math with confidence and enthusiasm, all thanks to Peter's help.
