About Jace

I hold a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and have taught voice for 5 years, working with students from young beginners to adult professionals. My approach balances technique with creativity, offering structured progression while allowing room for individuality and artistic growth. Beyond teaching, I’ve performed in choirs, solo concerts, and studio recordings, bringing real-world experience into each lesson. I’ve helped students prepare for auditions, school performances, and competitions, always emphasising clear goals, vocal health, and expressive delivery. I customise each lesson to suit different learning styles and musical preferences. Singing is more than hitting notes—it’s a personal form of storytelling. I believe every voice has value and potential, and I’m passionate about helping people discover that through patient, skilful instruction. Teaching allows me to share both my expertise and my enthusiasm for music in every session.

About the lesson

Every lesson begins with tailored warm-ups and vocal exercises to strengthen breath support and pitch accuracy. Whether you're a beginner or returning after time away, we establish a strong technical base while nurturing your vocal identity. Focus is placed on healthy singing habits that support long-term development. As lessons progress, we delve into tone production, dynamic control, and stylistic interpretation. You’ll work on real songs matched to your vocal range and interests—be it pop, classical, or musical theatre. Weekly goals and in-lesson feedback help track progress and build confidence. Advanced students explore stage presence, emotional delivery, and artistic phrasing, as well as the tools to handle vocal fatigue and performance anxiety. Lessons also include recording analysis and optional songwriting guidance. The structure remains supportive but flexible, helping every singer find their own unique voice.
